Back to basics
So. We want to focus on the good and basic ingredients that are not only good for skin and hair but also the weight scale.
Here we give you our preferred everyday basics.
CHIA & FRUIT FOR BREAKFAST
You may have heard about the wonders of chia seeds. If not - you should definitely start adding these lovely seeds to your yoghurt or skyr.
Chia seeds are not only rich in fibres, omega-3 fats, protein, vitamins and minerals - but also antioxidants, which speed up the skin’s repair systems, and prevent premature skin aging. What's not to love?
And for the sweet tooth we like to top our breakfast up with lots of berries and fruits! (And it makes your breakfast look really pretty too!)
EGGS FOR LUNCH
A big lunch with a hot meal can be tempting during the cold months - but if you want to save room for the Christmas treats, try going for a simple egg-dish, with pesto, tomatoes and a side of garlic to boost the immune system before winter hits!
Psssst – just a quick note...perhaps you should skip the garlic for now if you have be at a meeting afterwards...
GREENS FOR DINNER
Greens are one of the best ways to boost your immune system, which is crucial in this season of snotty noses (at least in the cold North).
Try to make a quick stir-fry or a salad for dinner with all your favourite vegetables.
We personally can't get enough of mushrooms, baby spinach and spring onions.... and a side of avocado (of course) - Yummy!
